TIP #7

FACE PRIMER

A lot of us have heard about Face primer but still don’t really know what its all about or don’t think its an important product.

Well that was me about 2 months ago. I didn’t really think primer was an important product or it would make a big difference. I was WRONG!

I decided to buy it in January and have been using it since. I absolutely love this product and will def. keep this in my kit for now on.

I use the prep + prime from MAC.

It is a is a silicone primer which helps to even out the skin’s texture and helps foundation to wear longer on the skin.

If your having a hard time applying your makeup, sometimes the formulas aren’t easy to work with, this product or any other primer will help in a big way! Not only is it going to help by prepare and smooth out the texture of your skin, it’s going to help blend out your products and last longer!

I def. recommend picking up a primer and trying it out! You can always go to the makeup counter and ask for a sample to see if it works for you before dishing out the money.

Do you use a primer? Do you see the difference when using it?

EDIT: Here are some  swatches of the product due to request.

** my hand with the ring is the one with the primer on it*

This product cost $26.50 US on the MAC cosmetics website.

I have two primers. ELF’s mineral primer and Sephora’s matte primer.
Here are a post comparing the two:

It would be nice to see some swatches from MAC’s primer. How much did it costs?
