There been a little confusion out there in the makeup world. What is the difference between MAC Fix + & UD Setting Spray? There should be no confusion at all! They are two completely different products! Hopefully by the end of this article, I have cleared up the confusion & you can enjoy your two products in harmony!

I’m gonna start off by talking about MAC’s Fix +. I absolutely love this product. I have repurchased time and time again. I love caring it in my workout bag (well when I use to work out), my purse, and def. is a staple in my makeup kit. I think I know why there is a little confusion. The picture above is taken from the MAC website. Towards the end of the description it says, “finishes makeup.” Well yes it does finish makeup, but does not “SET” makeup. What that phrase means is for example, your setting your foundation with powder and all of a sudden you feel your face looks to powdery, and for some reason you can’t get the two to blend with each other. This is where Fix + comes in, either spray it on your brush, or directly on your face, and start blending. With all the nutrients and minerals in the bottle, your skin will start to absorb the product, and make it easier to blend, it will also make your face feel refreshed and energized; thats why I like to keep it in my bag. Whenever I am feeling dry, I just spritz a little on my face and ta duh!

Now Urban Decay’s All nighter setting spray. This baby is amazing! I think every makeup artist should have some kind of spray like this. This spray is used to help you makeup last and look freshly applied all day. Don’t you hate when you spend so much time on your makeup and know you are looking good, and by the time it’s lunch, you feel you look dull? This spray will do the trick. This spray is meant to be used at the end of makeup application.  This is perfect for big events like your wedding, prom, or any other special event in your life.

RECAP: Both are amazing products, and I have used both of them in my makeup routine ever since I have owned either product. Fix + is to help tone, moisturize your face. With that it will help blend in your makeup so you don’t have that overly caked on finish. The Setting spray from Urban Decay is meant to be used after your makeup application is complete. Spray this bad boy on your face, and your makeup will look just as fresh as when you applied it, at the end of the day.

I hope this helped!
