HOW TO: FISHTAIL BRAID

Just yesterday I was telling my roommates that the fishtail braid hands down is my favorite braid.
I love it so much because it looks like a complicated look, but its so EASY!
& now its on the style board for this FALL!

Here is a picture of me rocking the fishtail almost a year ago (the first time i tried the look)

WANT TO FISHTAIL BRAID?!
Heres How!

1. Part you hair however you like and divide into 2 sections.
2. Once you have your 2 sections, take about 1/2 inch sections from the back.
3. Once you have your 1/2 inch sections, start braiding like you would for a normal braid.
4. REPEAT step 2 & 3 until desired look.

To get the messy look, fishtail tightly, then when all done, pull the sides apart slowly!

EDIT:

Here are two videos I have found on Youtube to help you along.

The first video shows how to fishtail by tucking the hair under, rather the second video tucks the hair forward, like a normal braid.

Both turn out exactly the same, its just preference and which one is easier for you.

Have you tried this look? Will you ROCK the fishtail braid this FALL?
