BACK 2 BASICS: EYE BRUSHES

BRUSHES BRUSHES BRUSHES!
As you beauties already know… these lovely tools are one of my favorite things to collect in the beauty world.
I just feel that you can never have enough brushes!
But brushes can definitely be a tricky thing when looking to buy.
Hopefully this little guide will change all of that!!

The next section of brushes I am going to talk about are basic eye brushes!

Let’s get started!

Again, I will post what I posted on the Basic Face Brushes…

oh p.s. I have decided to use pictures of my favorite brushes! I use these brushes not only for my self, but for my clients!
Royal & Langnickel did not sponsor this post, and did not ask me to create this.
But if you would like to check out the brushes, I have linked the pictures to their website!

BASIC EYE BRUSHES

EYE SHADER BRUSH
You want to find a brush that is wide and flat. This brush is for gently sweeping on eye shadow over the entire lid, from the lash line to the brow bone. You can also use this brush for concealer as a back up!

EYE SHADOW BRUSH
The difference between this brush and an eye shader brush is that this brush is only wide enough to cover about half the eyelid. You also want to look for rounded bristles with beveled edges that way it can deposit the product across the your lower lid without leaving harsh lines.

EYE BLENDING BRUSH
These brushes come in all shapes and sizes. But the main thing that you are looking for in this brush is a soft fluffy brush with long bristles. This brush is designed to blend eye shadow and eliminate lines. Even though this is a “EYE” blending brush, this brush is also great for setting concealer around the eyes or over blemishes.

EYE PENCIL BRUSH
This brush is going to have a small head with a slightly rounded point. You want to look for a brush that is stiff enough but also soft. This brush is great for smudging eyeliner to create a smokey eye or building your outer v.

BROW BRUSH
One of the most important thing you want to look for in this brush is that the brush has stiff short bristles that are cut at an angle.

EYELINER BRUSH (ANGLED)
This brush can be used for applying eyeliner or shadow to your brows. The main thing you are looking for in this brush is very short dense bristles that are cut at an angle.

EYELINER BRUSH (FLAT)
If you are looking to apply a more precise line at the lash line you are going to want to look for a brush that is flat, dense, synthetic bristles that are slightly rounded at the tip.

EYELINER BRUSH (ULTRA FINE)
When wanting to apply a precise application of liquid or gel eyeliner you want to use this brush. The bristles on this brush are small, synthetic, dense, and curve at a point.

I hope this was extremely helpful!

Please leave comments below telling me what advance eye brushes you would like to learn more about!
