Summer Must Haves!

Hello Beauties!

Summer is here, and the heat is on!

Summer is one of our favorite seasons, its a time for low maintenance makeup and beachy hair!

Here is a list of products we can’t get enough of during these hot summer months!

Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics MINERALS IN THE MIST
($24 USD)

I love starting my makeup routine with a light spray as it instantly hydrates the skin. I carry the Mineral Mist in “Refresh” in my purse that way I can instantly have a pick me up anytime of the day. There is 3 different mist to choose from, theres Recharge, which has an energizing blend of ginger and mint, Refresh, a delicious blend of tangerine and grapefruit, and Restore, which has a replenishing blend of grapefruit, lime, and rosemary.

OCC Lip Tar
($14.50 USD)

Lip Tars hands down are my favorite lip products! They are extremely pigmented and last all day! Specifically , I am in love with the shade “Hoochie.” OCC describes it as a “extreme magenta.” This color just screams summer and looks good on everybody!

Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics
Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint
($43 USD)

I am obsessed with this Moisture Tint. I have never used a tint that has great coverage for being a sheer product. This instantly evens out my skin and leaves a healthy beautiful glow. There is nothing worse then feeling like your face is melting off in the summer heat, with the mineral radiance moisture tint, I never have that problem! This is a must have!

MAC Opulash Optimum Black Mascara
($15 USD)

This Mascara has to be one of my favorite mascaras out there. The big brush on this baby delivers super volume and curls your lashes at the same time. I never have a problem with this mascara smearing either! If you are looking for flirtatious lashes without applying fake lashes, this is your product!

Soft & Gentle
($29 USD)

This is my favorite highlighter on the planet! In my opinion it just looks so beautiful and natural on the skin. I don’t ever not apply this product. I apply it above my cheek bones, down my nose, a little on my chin and forehead. This also looks great on the collar bone, or shins when taking photos!!

Royal & Langnickel
[R]evolution Premiere Brushes

I was introduced to these brushes at IMATS LA this past week and these brushes are AMAZING!  Each brush head is made with special fibers wichic mimic the performance and feel go the finest natural hair. These brushes are hands down some of the best brushes I have used and the best part, they do not shed, or loose shape after wash! I would def. check out these brushes!

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20
($42 USD)

An essential for me during the summer months. This product gives me just enough coverage, while protecting my skin from the suns harmful rays. I prefer the oil free formula since I have oily skin.

Revlon Lip Butters
(About $7 USD)

I must admit that I am not a huge lip product junkie, but these lipsticks are some of the best! They are ultra moisturizing are sheer, making them perfect for the summertime. My must have color is strawberry shortcake, a creamy pink shade.

Yes To Cucumbers Facial Towlettes
(About $5 USD)

My favorite facial wipes for effectively removing any and all eye and face makeup. I love to stash these in my beach or pool bag for a nice pick me up while soaking up the sun.

MAC Pigment in Vanilla
($20 USD)

One of the most versatile products in my beauty collection. Not only can this be used as an eyeshadow, but can be a highlighter, or even added to lip gloss and nailpolish. I  use this almost every single day as an inner corner highlight and on the tops of my cheekbones for the perfect summer glow.

Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Alhambra
($34 USD)

I recently bought this duo at Sephora after eyeing it for a few months, and I must say that I am absolutely in love! The light Champaign and peachy bronze shades are the perfect colors to sweep on your eyes for a simple and easy bronze summer look.

Anastasia Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat
($21 USD)

This product is perfect for those of you who want to get away with wearing mascara to the beach or pool without worrying about having “raccoon eyes” the second your face touches the water. After my regular mascara dries, I apply this right after and find that it further defines and lengthens my lashes as well as holds them in place. Your mascara is guaranteed to not budge for the rest of the day.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder in Milk Chocolate
($29 USD)

There are so many things I love about this product. First off, it has a matte finish so, rest assured, your face will not look like a shimmery mess. Also, if you’re a hot chocolate lover like myself, this contains real cocoa powder so you get a delicious whiff every time you apply it. Lastly, the shade “milk chocolate” is perfect for my skin tone because it’s not too dark and allows me to warm up my complexion without making my face look muddy or dirty. It’s a definite must have.

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoos
($6.99 USD)

These color tattoos scream “summer” to me because of all the vibrant colors and its easy use. For the days where you want something simple, you can just use one color and blend it out and be out the door in seconds. I love that it’s pigmented enough to use alone or you can apply an eye shadow on top of it to really make the color pop. You can even mix and match the colors to get a fun and bold look. I, personally, have never had an issue with these creasing, but just in case, be sure to apply a good eye primer beforehand.

Temptu Retouch Highlighter in Champagne
($40 USD)

I recently got my hands on this and I am obsessed with it. I have used so many different highlighters, but nothing compares to the beautiful glow this product gives my skin. The only thing I dislike is the brush applicator so I mostly use my fingers to apply it on the tops of my cheekbones and on my temples. I used this for a fashion show on my models to give them a dewy complexion and it looked absolutely gorgeous on each of them. I know it is on the pricey side, but besides believing that it is truly worth the buy, Temptu’s website is offering it for $17 for a limited time so get your hands on it while you can!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Exposed
($25 USD)

The reason I love this product is because of how natural it looks on my cheeks. It gives them just enough of a subtle glow without it being an obvious shade of pink or peach. I tend to focus more on doing colorful eyes or bold lips, so I love that this warms up my face just enough without it competing with the rest of my makeup. It literally goes with any look and I love that versatility.
