How Olivia Danielle achieves radiant skin!

Hello Beauties!

I hope everyone has a fun & safe fourth of july!

I have been getting a lot of compliments on my skin lately (thank you everyone) and keep getting asked what I’m using to achieve radiant skin. Since I’m still camera shy, here is a blog post for now!! (would you guys like me to make a reappearance on youtube? let me know!)

I have changed one major thing in my eating habits, and that’s drinking more water! To be quite honest with you, I am horrible at drinking water. I have taken on the challenge only 1 non-water drink a day (usually a diet coke). With that just being done, I have seen a huge improvement in my skin. It’s not dry, and I have seen the clarity go way up!

For my skin care reign, I use two products!

Indie Lee’s Face Cleanser, which “Indie created this gentle, effective, double-duty cleanser to wash away impurities and remove makeup naturally.”

This is hands down my favorite cleanser, its smells like strawberries, and after use, my face just glows.

The second thing I use is her Squalance facial oil. Squalane oil is “a naturally occurring oil that promotes elasticity in the skin, as we age, its production diminishes. The key component of you sebum helps boost cell regeneration and oxygenation, leaving your face looking healthy and radiants” says Indie.

I use this after I wash my face in the morning and night! I also use this on all my clients at photo shoots.

After my skin care reign is done, I use 6 main products to achieve the summer glow.

I first prime my skin with Youngblood’s Mineral Primer. “The lightweight, silky formula smoothes the appearance of fine line and pores, creating an even surface for foundation.” I use one pump, and evenly apply it to my face.

Next I use Youngblood’s Eye Impact Eye Cream. This instantly reduces the signs of fatigue. This eye cream is one of the best eye creams I have ever used. It hydrates and illuminates at the same time. I use a concealer brush and pat this under my eye area.

For the third step, I apply Youngblood’s Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint.  This is a lightweight moisturizer that leaves the skin comfortably hydrated, evens out skin tones, and shields skin from environmental damage. I absolutely love this product. I like to apply it with a flat top kabuki brush to blend it in! Don’t forget your neck and ears!

The fourth step is concealer. I use two shades lighter, and apply it under my eyes, middle of forehead, and chin. This is where light naturally hits your face, so this mimics beautiful radiant skin, even when there is no light! My favorite concealer is Youngblood’s Ultimate concealer. It never settles in fine lines, and the vitamins in it soothe, and brighten the areas where applied.

The fifth step I use Youngblood’s Pressed Mineral Rice Powder in Medium or Dark (depending on what level of glow I’m looking for) and apply it on in my oily areas, like my t-zone. I love this powder because it helps control shine and diminishes the appearance of pores and fine lines. I also prefer the pressed version, because I can simply take it in my purse for touch ups.

The last step is to highlight. My favortite highlight powder is from MAC, Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish. It just looks so beautiful on the skin, and natural too. I like to highlight my skin above the cheekbone, around the eyes (near the temple) chin, down the nose, and little on the forehead.

and TA-DAAAAA gorgeous radiant skin!

of course after those steps, I apply whatever blush I plan on wearing that day, and continue on with the rest of my makeup routine!

How do you achieve your summer glow?

What products do you use?
